Gaston Berger
The Gaston Berger establishment called on Validex to help with the renovation of its university canteen, which serves around 1,000 meals every lunchtime.
Validex's objective was to meet two distinct challenges: to create 2 drop-off zones located on 2 different floors, transporting trays to a single laundry; and to improve food waste management.
Validex has designed and manufactured :
- 2 rope conveyor systems with sorting station for non-food waste
- 1 vertical angle conveyor to transport trays from the second floor to the laundry on the first floor
- 1 switch at the exit of the vertical conveyor and the first floor deposit zone
- 1 food waste shredding station positioned under a conveyor and equipped with a
double TVO shelf allowing two operators positioned at the front of the dishwasher to unhook plates and load dishes into the washing machine - 1 tank with a capacity of 5,000 L for storing bio-waste for recycling.

Validex creates tailor-made equipment for the organization of restaurant laundries and offers solutions for the treatment of bio-waste.
