Jeanson-de-Sailly High School
Context
Janson de Sailly high school is a historic building, Jules Ferry's first modern high school.
Issues
- A middle school and a high school in the same building: a canteen for the middle school, a canteen for the high school and a single wash-up area in the basement
- Modernize dish sorting and washing by installing conveyors without architectural modification and in compliance with the strict charter of the “Bâtiments de France”
Designing the solution
- A tray drop-off conveyor connected to a first vertical conveyor that passes under the slab, in a footprint of less than 1m2
- A horizontal conveyor suspended from the ceiling is connected to a second vertical conveyor that carries the trays down to the wash-up area
- A third vertical conveyor returns trays from the second canteen to the wash-up area
- At the exit of the two vertical conveyors, a system combines the two lines into one for sorting dishes
